Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 14, 2026

Your work lives in Workpeg, so we take how we handle it seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

Workpeg is a cloud operating system for work, operated by Workpeg Inc. (“Workpeg”, “we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you visit workpeg.com, use the Workpeg platform at app.workpeg.com and its Pegs (together, the “Platform”), or take part in Workpeg events.

It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions. Words defined in the Terms have the same meaning here.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account information — your name, email address, password, profile photo and the workspace or business you belong to.
  • Content — the files, messages, documents, records and other material you create, upload or store in the Platform, and the prompts and instructions you give Workpeg AI.
  • Payment information — when you buy a paid feature, your billing details. Card details are handled by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Communications — what you send us when you contact support, apply to an event or otherwise get in touch.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage information — the Pegs and features you use, actions taken in your workspace, and when and how often you use them.
  • Device and log information — IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language settings, and the pages you visit.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see section 6.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • provide, operate and maintain the Platform, including creating and securing your account;
  • carry out the actions you ask for, including actions Workpeg AI performs on your behalf;
  • process payments and manage subscriptions;
  • communicate with you about your account, security, updates and support requests;
  • run events you apply to or attend;
  • understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it;
  • detect, prevent and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents and violations of our Terms; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

Where the law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving a secure service, your consent (which you can withdraw at any time), and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Workpeg AI

When you use Workpeg AI, the content you submit and the workspace information needed to answer or act on it are processed to generate responses and carry out the actions you request. This processing may involve third-party AI model providers acting on our behalf, under contracts that limit how they may use that information.

You control how much Workpeg AI may do without asking you first; see How action approval works.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

  • With service providers who host, process or support the Platform on our behalf (for example cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery and AI model providers), under contracts that require them to protect it;
  • Within your workspace — content you share in a workspace is visible to its other members according to the permissions set by the workspace;
  • With third-party Pegs you choose to use, to the extent needed for that Peg to work. Those developers handle information under their own terms and privacy policies;
  • For legal reasons — to comply with law, legal process or a lawful request from authorities, or to protect the rights, safety and property of Workpeg, our users or others;
  • In a business transfer — if Workpeg is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy; and
  • With your consent or at your direction.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as language), keep the Platform secure, and understand how it is used. As noted in our Terms, some of our affiliates and advertising partners may also use cookies.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the Platform, such as signing in, will not work without them.

7. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform, and afterwards only as long as necessary to meet legal, accounting or security requirements, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information within a reasonable period, unless we are required to keep it.

8. Security

Workpeg is built with tenant isolation, audit logging and role-based permissions, and we use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your account credentials safe and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • delete your information or your account;
  • object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent where we rely on it;
  • receive your information in a portable format; and
  • complain to your local data protection authority.

You can update most account information in your account settings. For anything else, contact us at contact@workpeg.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

10. International transfers

Workpeg Inc. is based in the United States, and we and our service providers may process information in countries other than the one you live in. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected as described in this Policy and as required by applicable law.

11. Children

The Platform is intended for people aged 18 and over, or under 18 with parental consent, as set out in our Terms. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without that consent. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-party links and services

The Platform may link to or integrate with websites, Pegs and services run by others. This Policy does not cover them; please read their privacy policies before sharing information with them.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above and, where the changes are significant, let you know through the Platform or by email. Your continued use of the Platform after an update means you accept the updated Policy.
